How Kids Club at Bali Family Resorts Save Your Holiday
The kids club in Holiday Inn Bali Benoa

They says family who travel together stays together. But nobody tells you how much it takes for parents to maintain their sanity during their family trip to Bali. While it’s the dream of parents to see the kids happy and make precious memories to cherish for a lifetime, Mom’s and Dad’s patience can quickly run thin with all the drama and shenanigans at every unexpected times. It’s difficult to travel with children under the age of five, and no one likes to be outnumbered by little children at the airport, on a plane, or at the beach. This is why finding a Bali family resorts with kids club can be your saviour. We’ve seen many families haven’t use this service for years and asking where on earth they’ve been upon trying the kids club for the first time.

Kids Club Give Parents A Necessary Time-Out

Resorts often advertise a kid’s club as a place where kids can have all the time to themselves. While it’s true and kids do have fun, what kids club actually gives is time for yourself. So you can breathe and actually relax while you’re on a well-deserved, hard-earned vacation. The kids club at Holiday Inn resort Bali, for example, is a happy place with lots of things to do. For parents, however, it’s a valuable perk that they can drop off their little, beloved trouble-makers from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. During that time you can try riding a waterski, bike around the Nusa Dua, getting pampered in Balinese spa, sip a cup of coffee, and reading in peace.

Maintaining the Perfect Balance for Your Vacation in Bali Family Resorts

Kids Club Give Parents A Necessary Time-Out
Just enjoying time being an adult in Nusa Dua family resort

Holidays are great for family time, and we had plenty of that, but being able to balance it with time alone to sunbathe without having to keep half an eye on the kids, read your book without interruption, or simply sit and have lunch with your spouse/ parents while knowing the kids were having a good time was such a revelation. It turned out that spending some time separately turned out to be the perfect balance we needed from our vacation in the Nusa Dua family resort.

It maintains a fair level of balance. Holidays are a great time for families to reconnect and spend time together. However, let’s be real; it’s impossible to do this every year. Separation time is still essential. Parenting is the most difficult job in the world, and taking a few hours to yourself to refuel may make a huge difference in your family’s life. We parents are re-charged and ready to play in the pool, spend hours making sandcastles at the beach, or spend the evening playing cards and giving our children and family our entire attention since we have the luxury of being able to relax when the kids are in kids club. It’s the best of both worlds.

Dropping the Kids to the Club

It’s almost a rite of passage for kids to resist the kids club. Experts recommend making a compromise with your little skeptic—they must at least try a half-day—and then planning a fun activity together later. However, a lot of kids leave the kids club feeling good about themselves. Some parents also note that they become more social and bump into new friends at the resorts’ restaurants during the vacation.

The Professionals at Kids Club Keeps Kids Happy

The staff is always in ‘fun mode,’ which is more than a tired mother and father can say. The staff are always so full of energy and put so much effort into ensuring all of the kids have a great time and are happy. There are so many activities to choose from, and most of them are free. You can find ranges of activities from bouncy castles, wall climbing, face painting, drawing, mini car riding, crafts, movie time, and many more. For the kids, it’s something thousand times more fun than what their parents can do.

If you feel guilt about leaving the kids at the club, frame is as a necessary and constructive break for the whole family. Sometimes you spend too many times fighting with your own kids and that’s because you’re with each other all the time, 24/7. The time away from the kids and quality times with yourself will make you a better parent. Then, both you and the kids can enjoy a happier family vacation in the Bali resorts together.

How to stay safe on a flight with Coronavirus

Vacations have resumed under the government’s traffic-light system, especially now that the quarantine for amber-list entrants who have been completely vaccinated has been lifted.

As more people take to the skies in search of greener pastures, they may discover a radically different experience than in pre-Covid times.

Measures aimed at limiting the spread of coronavirus have become commonplace, ranging from social separation and wearing masks at airports to limiting food on planes.

But how risky is flying? Is there any way to ensure security? You’ll discover everything you need to know right here.

What is the best way for me to go to the airport?

There’s the getting to the airport part to consider before you even arrive at the airport.

Traveling by car has a lower risk of coming into touch with new people – and thus a lower risk of coming into contact with coronavirus – than taking public transportation.

Every means of transportation, in essence, has some level of risk. If contracting Covid-19 is your biggest fear right now, a car is definitely the best option. Be sure to wear a mask, keep the window open, and wash/sanitize your hands before and after catching a cab.

What can I do to keep myself safe at the airport?

New measures, such as social separation and required facial covers for passengers and workers, are now widely used at the airport.

Although travelers commonly associate planes with diseases, the airport, which brings people from all over the world together, poses a considerably greater risk.

The most crucial actions to take are to keep your distance from individuals outside your home:

  • wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer
  • wear a mask.

There are alternative strategies to limit your contact with others:

  • checking in online
  • printing your boarding pass ahead of time.

What can I do to stay safe on the plane?

Onboard, the Department for Transport recommends passengers to stay seated as much as possible; follow crew instructions and suggestions; use contactless payment when feasible; be aware that food and drink service may be limited, and notify the cabin staff if you become ill.

When not eating or drinking, most airlines will require you to wear a mask and will give hand sanitizer.

If you’re flying short-haul, going to the bathroom right before boarding may help you avoid having to go while on the plane, which means less movement and a lower risk of coming into contact with a coronavirus carrier.

Travelling Without Impacting The Environment Negatively

Especially when travelers are being irresponsible such as throwing trash in non-designated places, damaging facility, and disrespecting the wildlife. Therefore, it is important to raise awareness of the environmental impact of travel.

eco friendly transportation

How to travel without giving negative impact to the environment

Even though many people are already aware of the consequences of irresponsible travel, there are still many travelers who keep doing so just because travelling is what they love to do. However, we can still do what we love without damaging the environment in the process by finding the right ways to do it. Here are what we can do to have environment-friendly travel:

Choose more eco-friendly alternatives for the transport. You can find out more about environmentally-friendly travel program or package that offered by travel agents. They usually apply and use more straightforward ways to reduce environmental impact. There are many of them in website. Make sure to read and understand what they offer because even if they claim the program is environmentally-friendly, you need to make sure they implement it through the right ways.

Be more respectful to the wildlife as well as plant biodiversity and marine life. It is okay to admire amazing creatures in the wild. However, observing and violating the wildlife are two different things. Make sure that your activities during travel doesn’t cause any harm to the wildlife. For example, do not ride animals that should not be ridden. Even if it sounds fun, it is not the right ethical thing to do when encountering with animals. Let the wildlife stay in wildlife. Observe them from afar and let them feel protected and safe in their natural habitat. This can be a great contribution to preserve the nature.

Opt for reusable items for travelling such as water bottle. Avoid using a single-use items especially the one made from plastics because it harms the environment. It can damage the ecosystem because it is hard to process. Bring reusable shopping bags if you plan on purchasing or shopping during your trip. Hence, you can avoid using single-use plastic bags.

Using electronic documents instead of papers. Some documents might not be able to carry around in digital file. However, you can reduce the use of paper of documents you need for travel such as printed itinerary. You can opt for electronic itinerary you can save digitally in your phone. Today, it is more possible to check-in online and save your boarding pass. The more paper you use, the more tree being cut off. The more in danger our planet is.

Be more respectful and responsible when visiting your destinations. Do not do any activities especially if it cause any harm to the facility, people, or the environment. It is time to stop unruly behavior when travelling because there is no benefit of it. Responsible travel brings more benefits to the environment.

Some Interesting Facts About Indonesia

indonesian archipelago the largest in the world

Indonesia is a country that sees steady tourism increase in the past decade and more. Despite being the largest island country in the world, many people have never heard of the country at all. And some others had only ever heard about some parts of Indonesia. Let’s scratch a bit of the surface when it comes to some of the most interesting things this country is apparently known for.

Indonesia is the producer of the most expensive coffee in the world

The famed Luwak Coffee is a type of coffee that comes from poop. Civet’s poop, to be exact. This coffee comes from the fermented process it had gone through the civet’s digestive system. This type of coffee is thought to have “special” qualities to it and have been “improved” by these civets thanks to the selection process of the civets and the chemical and biological alterations of the coffee bean because of the civets’ digestion.

However, there has been some environmental concerns when it comes to the farming of these coffee beans. Some coffee plantations are found to be treating the civets badly. They don’t have optimum welfare. For instance, the diets of civets are highly varied. They are omnivores that eat insects and small mammals, mangoes, berries, and rambutan, among other things. However, in the coffee plantation, they are only fed coffee fruits. This is highly detrimental to their health as coffee fruits alone will not be able to meet their nutritional needs.

The average Indonesians are bilingual and multi-lingual

Indonesia consists of hundreds of different ethnicities that have their very own distinct culture and languages that come with it. Let’s take Bali as an example. Most of the Balinese are bilingual, with Balinese and Bahasa Indonesia being the two languages taught simultaneously at home. Those from Java would speak Javanese, the people of Flores would speak their own ethnic language, and so on.

Indonesia has the most impressive marine biodiversity in the world

While the Amazon forest topped the terrestrial biodiversity in the world, the marine biodiversity in Indonesia is unrivaled. Indonesia is a part of the legendary Coral Triangle. Coral Triangle is the term of only roughly 30% of the ocean area that has over 75% of the entire world’s underwater population. The seas of West Papua, Papua New Guinea, and Raja Ampat regency are included in the impressive marine biodiversity of the coral triangle.

Bali is an exception in so many ways

If you’ve only ever visited Bali, then you haven’t experienced Indonesia just yet. But then again, the same can be said with other islands. Java is an experience on its own, which is vastly different compared to the many highly populated island in Indonesia. Bali is going to be very different than, say, Lombok, even though the two are basically neighbors and they share the same ancestry and ethnicities.

Bali’s religious majority is Hindu, which is a huge exception from the rest of the country, which has a predominantly Muslim population. Your experience in Bali is going to be vastly different when it comes to virtually everything, especially concerning cultural aspects and ways of life.

Indonesia is the largest archipelagic country in the world

Indonesia inhibits such a large space, with thousands of islands that no one actually knows the exact count of. And we really don’t several studies done on how many islands in Indonesia led to several different results as well. Numbers that showed a large difference of results to each other.
